Genetic Diversity
摘要
The genetic diversity of Rubus nubigenus Kunth has been studied by molecular markers, such as simple sequence repeats (SSRs). R. nubigenus has a greater genetic diversity than the other Rubus species. The genetic diversity studies are scarce, and more research is warranted. The genetic diversity of the Colombian Rubus species is mainly preserved in the Colombian collection of germplasm located at La Selva Research Center, Rionegro, Antioquia State. Currently, the collection only houses 12 Rubus species and does not include Rubus nubigenus. However, R. nubigenus known as Morón was previously housed in La Selva Research Center.
