This chapter maps the scholarly landscape of digital transformation (DT) research in nonprofit organizations (NPOs) through a bibliometric analysis of the existing literature. Using performance indicators and thematic clustering, it identifies the most influential authors, publications, and conceptual domains in the field. The analysis reveals major thematic streams as well as methodological gaps that hinder theoretical consolidation. These findings offer a structured overview of how DT in NPOs has evolved and propose a preliminary conceptual synthesis.

This chapter maps the scholarly landscape of digital transformation (DT) research in nonprofit organizations (NPOs) through a bibliometric analysis of the existing literature. Using performance indicators and thematic clustering, it identifies the most influential authors, publications, and conceptual domains in the field. These findings offer a structured overview of how DT in NPOs has evolved and propose a preliminary conceptual synthesis.
