However, it was up to the new Congress to pass laws addressing intellectual property. This chapter outlines the key legal issues and samples of the respective laws related to copyrights, patents, and trademarks. In addition, there is an analysis of several substantive U.S. District Court of Appeals copyright infringement cases.
