This study tries to identify various crucial factors that shape the health literacy and also the different communication tools and yoga practice to enhance health physical and mental. In recent year, literacy rate is increasing, but compared to that health literacy rate is growing very slow. If we see the ratio of India’s population to health workers it is comparatively low than the standard. To lower the burden on doctors and nurses we can use technology and communication strategies which can educate the individuals for their own and family health and welfare to achieve over all social wellbeing. This research used an online survey targeting university students and citizens to identify their age group, income, health care knowledge, perception and attitudes toward health care. The survey consists of questions on demographics, exposure of respondents to various health care information and practices followed by individuals. The findings reveal that age and income group do not affect much health literacy but education impacts on lifestyle choices and increase the health literacy. Many respondents expressed their practice yoga helps in prevention of stress and keeping mental health well. This study can help further to will help to healthcare institutes, government in selecting the digital communication tools like videos, website and blog in such a way that to delivery instructions and improve healthcare literacy among the individuals.
