Following the demonetization in India, a significant shift occurred as most users transitioned to digital payment systems such as net banking, card payments, and UPI (Unified Payments Interface) methods. This shift has played a crucial role in enhancing financial inclusion within the Indian economy, steadily paving the way toward a cashless society, with a large portion of the population adopting digital payments. The widespread adoption of these systems has been driven by advancements in wireless technologies, including the internet and mobile networks, along with the secure transaction services provided by Fintech companies. In India, digital payment systems, particularly UPI, have become highly popular for their safe, secure, fast, and trusted transaction capabilities. Various UPI applications now facilitate millions of transactions per second. This study has analyzed and compared the usage patterns of different UPI applications among users. The study employed the exploratory research methodology to get more insights about usage pattern of various UPI apps. Total respondents are 139 that have been analyzed and to provide a comprehensive understanding of UPI apps’ usage pattern in the digital payments landscape.
