Peace and Security
摘要
This chapter examines how some international agreements concluded by European Union with third Parties uphold and promote peace and security European Union values. Such agreements often include certain quite identical provisions—such as a particular “security exception” and some “denials of benefits”—which could be considered also as means to sustain and foster peace and security. Additionally, some of such agreements comprise a few specific contents aimed at the same purposes too. Furthermore, this chapter surveys the role played by European Union military and civilian missions and operations in supporting and promoting peace and security European Union values.
