Assessment and Evaluation in Digital Pedagogy

The digital age has changed learning from static books and closed-book exams to multimedia presentations, blogs, interactive simulations, podcasts, digital storytelling, and more. Thus, linear essays and multiple-choice assessments no longer measure students’ depth, complexity, and inventiveness. Reimagining assessment entails creating tools and frameworks that effectively measure student learning in digital contexts while fostering fairness, inclusion, and creativity. What does digital learning look like? In multimodal projects, how can we quantify creativity, cooperation, and critical engagement?
