In this paper, the role of the blockchain in data privacy protection is explored. It explores potential applications of blockchain, strong encryption (including automated access control) with a vision of a world where data privacy reigns in all sectors. The blockchain technology has gained a lot of fame, especially the foundation, Bitcoins, due to a distributed public ledge and a system that is decentralized; hence, according to the authorities and financial institutions, with the help of high-tech businesses, investigates ways to help raise efficiency, saves costs, improves data security accordingly. There remain, however, essential privacy issues that may make adoption into mainstream difficult. An effective approach to handle these privacy issues for non-transactional applications based on Identity Based Encryption is proposed in this research. Our proposed solution has successfully protected the data privacy by providing defense against disguise and passive attacks. We will demonstrate that our proposal is highly secure through an in-depth analysis which will showcase the utility, due diligence, and effectiveness of our proposal in many non-transactional settings.

摘要
