The technological advancement of Artificial Intelligence is spanning in every direction with the invention of its sub-innovative technical developments. Digital Twins is such an application which allows to make a twin model of a physical system digitally. One of the most important advantages of Digital Twin is real-time Updation, which requires a robust system for collection, transmission and analysis of the data. Geospatial systems provide real-time information that blends collectively with the Digital Twin for making a data driven management system and thus, finds application in the domain of Urban Planning & Smart Infrastructure, Disaster Management, Environmental Monitoring, and Agriculture Industry. This chapter will deal with the amalgamation of the Digital Twin and Geospatial Sciences, towards developing a Smart and Sustainable Development. Moreover, it includes the discussion and frameworks of the emerging domains of Geospatial Artificial Intelligence (GeoAI) and Urban Digital Twin (UDT) Framework. The application of Digital Twin based GeoAI is twofold: contribution in the generation of spatial information and enhancing the efficiency of urban services. Urban Digital Twin (UDT) Framework is being employed in transforming the urban design practices with analyzation and optimizing the urban resource management systems, based on real-time data availability. The chapter also discusses the barriers and challenges towards the adaptation and implementation of Geospatial based Digital Twin Systems in planning, development, and management of urban smart infrastructure.
