Neopragmatism (especially in Rorty’s interpretation) cf. considers itself a panrelationalist theory. But even as a panrelationalist theory, the question arises as to whether and where boundaries in the strict sense, or transition zones in a somewhat less strict sense, can be drawn or located; in short, what can be counted as part of neopragmatism’s comprehensive (meta-)vocabulary and what cannot. A central question in philosophical engagement with the world is the question of transcendences (Latin transcendere, to ‘cross a boundary’ or ‘go beyond a domain’) in relation to what is available to humans (with respect to World 1 or World 3).

摘要
