Interim or Government of National Unity
摘要
This chapter anticipates a stalemate in the electoral process and discusses ways of resolving the problem. One is the formation of a Government of National Unity, a sort of power-sharing coalition among the contending political actors. Two, in a situation whereby the GNU option fails, the option of an interim government comes to the fore. The interim option has two elements. It is either composed of impartial actors or intervention by men on the horseback, mainly to superintend a transition to a democratic rule.
