This chapter dwells, in the main, on the political sovereignty of the electorate and its decisiveness in the electoral process. While underlining the ad hoc nature of Nigerian political parties, it argues, however, that the triumph of the power of the electorate depends on several factors. These include alliance, money, ICT, and identity factors that are ethno-religious in nature.
