Development of an Application for the Alexa Platform to Group Routines
摘要
Artificial intelligence (AI) and digital voice processing are essential tools for managing smart devices, simplifying interaction and routine automation. However, Alexa presents limitations, as it does not support grouping multiple sensors and actuators in a single routine and restricts configuration to its mobile app, reducing flexibility. This project proposes the development of a Skill for Alexa that overcomes these limitations by allowing users to create routines with multiple compatible devices. The Skill supports actions such as creating, enabling, disabling, deleting routines, querying lists, and includes password protection for sensitive operations. The development used platforms like Tuya IoT, Node-Red, Blynk, Voiceflow, and the Tuya Smart app. The project was carried out in two stages: the first focused on designing and implementing the Skill; the second on building a test environment using IoT devices such as temperature, motion, and contact sensors, along with smart outlets. Results validated the Skill’s functionality, though issues like signal noise and slow data validation were observed.
