Re-Imagining AI for Online Education in India: A Practitioner's Perspective

This research paper critically examines the paradigm-shifting effects of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in online education in India based on the practical experience of educators and instructional designers. As the Indian education system is in the process of digitalization, this paper discusses the role of AI in making learning inclusive, adaptive, and scalable. It explores major themes such as pedagogical flexibility, methodological creativity, governance mechanisms, learner-oriented issues, and strategic future. The paper ends with suggestions on how to develop a future-ready, AI-powered online education ecosystem that will support national objectives.
