Object Centric Process Mining with a Communication Architecture
摘要
Smart Manufacturing is ushering in daily improvements to the manufacturing scene, and with this rapid improvement pace comes about opportunity for data chaos and inefficiencies. While communication protocols assist in the organization and packaging of data for communication within a Smart manufacturing environment, they fall short at fully realizing the advantages of Smart Manufacturing. With the implementation of a communication architecture for Smart Manufacturing Units, data synergies emerge between the requirements of Smart Manufacturing and its characteristics for intelligent control. This article identifies how this data is then accessible throughout different layers of a Smart Manufacturing case study. This article then evaluates how the accessibility of information at machine level can be used in an object centric process control and organization methodology. This allows Smart Manufacturing Units to automate object centric processes and introduce a new set of intelligence alongside Smart Manufacturing. Simulated production runs of the Smart Manufacturing case study are then assessed to see the improvements of the communication architecture can have on object centric processes. Improvements into production rates of ~13% are exhibited in production runs, will harmonious traits of data storage and accessibility are shared throughout machine communication, object centric process flows and the communication architecture.
