Background - Today's rapidly changing world, Artificial intelligence is restructuring the workforce and creating new learning opportunities for existing manpower. This improves traditional Human Resource Management. Sustainable development goals offer important ways to face global issues. Sustainable Development Goal 8 specifies the need for Decent work and economic growth. Rationale of this work - This study helps to understand how to involve Artificial Intelligence [AI] to plan reskilling strategies for sustainable manpower Management and to achieve SD8 [Decent work and economic growth]. This paper is based on a combined methodology -Utilising secondary data collected from published materials like labour reports from the International Labour Organisation (ILO), HR records, and data from the World Bank available in the public domain. For the Integration of AI in retraining, the Delphi method is also used. This study utilises AI techniques to predict the skills for improving employee performance. It plans to structure customised training modules for each workman using AI techniques. It will also create new job roles based on training and AI analysis based on employees’ capabilities and limitations. It proposes continuous feedback using AI technology to create a future-ready employee. It also proposes a model to combine HR reskilling and AI techniques for decision makers to achieve Decent work and economic progress [SDG 8]. Conclusion - AI-based reskilling will improve employee capabilities and help to achieve sustainable goal for Decent work and economic growth.
