Digital transformation is reshaping traditional retail, yet many nanostores in Lima still rely on manual operations. This study identifies key factors influencing technology adoption in modern Lima and applies the AHP method to assess the relative importance of each functionality, ensuring consistency. A prototype validated by experts was developed, and 265 nanostore owners were surveyed. The results of the study indicate that the main factors that influence technology adoption positively are social influence, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and knowledge of the system’s benefits. The application of the AHP method indicates that the sales function is the most valued by the participants, while the credit function has the least relevance. The study’s insights will help to refine functionalities and adoption strategies for a scalable solution.
