摘要
This chapter introduces the experimental environment at CERN. It describes the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) with its design parameters, beam structure, and operational schedule. The chapter then focuses on the LHCb detector, optimised for studying heavy-flavour hadrons. Detailed discussions cover sub-detectors, trigger systems, and data acquisition. The chapter also outlines simulation workflows, data reconstruction, and calibration processes, establishing the experimental context for the \(\gamma \) measurement.
