Advantages of the mini-C-arm include reduced radiation exposure and scatter to the patient, surgeon, and care team. Additionally, because it does not require a dedicated radiographic technician, the mini-C-arm can help optimize hospital resource utilization and improve value. All physicians operating radiographic equipment must receive appropriate training and use personal protective equipment.
