Heritage as a Systemic Artefact of Intelligent Sustainability
摘要
Traditionally, it takes the form of written archives and published works. Although fundamental, these media are now facing limitations in the face of changing cultural practices, the rapid pace of change brought about by technological progress and the proliferation of digital technologies and their innovative applications for heritage preservation. The latter are now indispensable for preventing deterioration and the loss of identity and authenticity. The challenge is to make heritage more accessible and relevant to younger generations, who are more familiar with digital technologies. It is also to disseminate it using more dynamic, interactive and collaborative methods. This approach brings together new ways of understanding heritage through updated expressions and representations of existing heritage, with the aim of preserving it and ensuring its sustainability. Through collaborative work, we offer a critical reading of heritage preservation methods that leads to the emergence of a new systemic paradigm, that of sustainability, which, thanks to the technological means deployed, becomes intelligent and makes heritage more accessible. To achieve this goal, the methodological approach refers to a qualitative diagnosis based on focus groups and the reinforcement of immersive workshops between students and digital practices. Hence, a qualitative analysis method is deployed through a collaborative workshop framing “smart sustainability” as a systemic heritage paradigm. The theme is knowledge and co-construction of heritage. Thus, intelligent sustainability introduces a participatory approach open to its stakeholders in order to reconcile current needs with those of future generations, integrates social, human and cultural aspects and suggests the involvement of youth and researchers in new processes for managing and understanding historical or future heritage.
