Resource Allocation (RA) in NOMA-Based Wireless Networks

This chapter discusses the network resource allocation in NOMA-based wireless networks. In particular, it discusses the existing resource allocation strategies and the common network resource parameters in NOMA systems. It demonstrates NOMA network systems from two-user and multiuser perspective through mathematical expressions and provides problem formulation for resource allocation in these NOMA systems. Later, it provides ML-based solutions for optimum resource allocation. In the end, it demonstrates the effectiveness of the ML-based solutions through numerical results and computational complexities.
