Introduction
摘要
The word “spatial” fundamentally relates to human existence and activity in any terrestrial and celestial spaces. The aim of this book is to describe universal high-level model and technology for dealing with spatial systems of different natures. After reviewing spatial features in many areas it describes basics of Spatial Grasp Technology (SGT) and its Spatial Grasp Language (SGL) for dealing with large distributed systems, which can provide spatial vision, awareness, management, and even consciousness. It shows how SGL scenarios self-evolve in physical, virtual or imaginable spaces and provides details of the technology implementation, where distributed SGL interpreter integrated with advanced communication systems becomes a powerful spatial engine. Techniques are described in SGL for vision, understanding and modifying of large distributed spaces, also for security, automatic control and withstanding cyber attacks in networked systems. The book compares Spatial Grasp model with algorithms, confirming universality of the former for representing, understanding, simulation and management of any spatial and distributed systems, with the latter just representing tools for concrete applications.
