Idealism and Pan-Africanism, the Foundation of the PASTEF Political Party in Senegal
摘要
Ousmane Sonko is from the Casamance region of Senegal. His educational journey reflects how many young people from Casamance have successfully integrated into the national education system. A member of the Jola ethnic group, the primary ethnic group in Casamance, he benefited from a strong educational foundation thanks to his parents, both teachers who emphasized the importance of education. Sonko attended Gaston Berger University, a public institution in Saint-Louis near Dakar. After completing his studies, he passed the entrance exam for the École Nationale d’Administration (ENA), a public institution in Senegal that trains government officials and administrators.
