Digital Solution of Safety Culture Evaluation and Assessment within an Aviation Company
摘要
The management of an aviation company (AC) must be cognizant of the level of its internal safety culture (SC), as it directly impacts flight safety. Aviation employees, regardless of their level, make numerous errors, which are unacceptable in the aviation industry. Eliminating the root causes of these errors necessitates deep knowledge and extensive work experience from managers. In this capacity, managers must possess the ability to process a substantial amount of information swiftly and make informed decisions to enhance the SC. Modern AC employs various control methods, such as voluntary reporting, audits, and surveys, to accumulate a significant amount of data about the SC. By effectively processing this data, it is possible to derive crucial information that can swiftly and efficiently improve flight safety through timely measures and appropriate decision-making. However, this process can be challenging due to the absence of a uniform standard for survey forms, content, and questionnaires. Artificial intelligence (AI) can assist with processing this data and developing recommendations, as not all managers have the time, knowledge, and personal experience to undertake these tasks. Consequently, AI emerges as a valuable advisor to managers of different levels, enabling them to comprehensively identify and address the shortcomings of the company’s SC. By eliminating these shortcomings, managers can effectively enhance flight safety. This article discusses options for implementing a single standard of an aviation company’s SC system and the compliance of its output data for the successful processing of AI.
