Optimizing Student Outcomes for Sustainable Development: The Role of Blockchain in Academic Performance Management
摘要
In the era of digital transformation and sustainable development, the education sector is exploring innovative technologies to enhance student outcomes and ensure academic integrity. This paper investigates the application of blockchain technology in academic performance management and its potential to contribute to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education). Blockchain offers a decentralized, transparent, and tamper-proof platform for storing academic records, enabling real-time performance tracking, and ensuring secure credential verification. By addressing issues such as data manipulation, administrative inefficiencies, and lack of accountability, blockchain fosters a student-centric ecosystem that promotes trust, equity, and lifelong learning. The study further analyzes the technological, ethical, and policy implications of implementing blockchain in educational institutions and presents a framework for its integration to optimize student performance and support long-term educational sustainability.
