The aim of this research entails to build an intelligent assistive device in an embedded style of walking stick for blind people. The tool is designed to solve the problems of the visually impaired with unique features that are ultrasonic obstacle detection, real-time GPS tracking with Google Maps, and emergency notification. The novelty of this product is increased by the fact that it is scalable and adaptable to the needs of the respective user and also, it is capable of following the movement of the user in real-time, thus performing the task of a friend and locator.
