For nearly 40 years there has been a significant lack of studies and innovation regarding construction processes and its productivity. Poor planning, low coordination of elements, multiple changes, high fragmentation of activities and manual collection of information cause high levels of uncertainty, inefficiency and waste in this sector. Author proposes an Industry 5.0 lean-model to develop and execute industrial construction projects based on the rationalization of their work processes. This real-time model is powered by an overall efficiency system designed by the author. This system involves participants in cross-functional teams and necessarily provokes their involvement in decision-making processes to increase their investment and contentment of their roles. It also brings along other important achievements such as the application of Just-In-Time philosophy and the standardization of materials in the industrial construction industry. This innovative model aims to create an integrated human-centricity environment based on lean philosophy for the mitigation of waste which represents from 30 to 40% of the total cost in every construction project.

摘要
