Testing the Interaction Between Cognitive and Motor Skills: An Observational Study
摘要
The advent of Industry 5.0 has highlighted the importance of human-centric production systems, where cognitive and motor abilities are required to ensure efficiency, precision, and general well-being. This study explores the interplay between cognitive and motor skills by exploring the interaction between the performance of cognitive and motor tests. A sample of 99 subjects voluntarily engaged in the experiments, and their performance was analysed through statistical analysis. Results obtained highlighted the relationship between cognitive and motor skills, revealing how planning and attention abilities are related to manual dexterity. This research contributes to advancing the evaluation of human abilities in Industry 5.0 environments as the personal skills of individuals could be pivotal to improving ergonomics and well-being in current working environments.
