Equal Opportunities in Education and Sustainable Development: An Analytical Study
摘要
This analytical study aimed to highlight the importance of achieving equal opportunities in education as one of the basic pillars for promoting sustainable development in developed societies. The research dealt with the relationship between equity in access to and quality of education, and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, especially in the environmental, social and economic aspects. The study discusses the challenges facing education systems in ensuring educational justice, such as geographical inequality, and discrimination based on sex or economic status. It also reviews successful international models in integrating equal opportunity policies into its future and development strategies. The study concluded that promoting educational justice not only contributes to raising the level of education, but is an essential and pivotal factor in enabling individuals and communities to actively participate in the process of promoting sustainable development.
