The current research deal with selected locations in the north of Iraq which represent the soils of (Atrush, Shaqlawa, Aqrah, Dokan, Jawarta) at three depths: (0–20), (20–50) and (50–80) cm to study the percentages and molecular ratios of oxides elements by using waters with different ionic strength (chloride water, sulfuric water, Tigris river water).results showed that the highest value of CaO% percentage was (30.38%), (31.8%) and (30.66) in Atrush soils for the three types of water respectively.as for the percentage of MgO%, it was the highest (19.55%).) in Atrush soil of Atrush when the sulfuric water was used, the highest value of FeO% percentage was (7.67%) was Jwarta soil for the chloride water was used, while the highest value of ZnO% percentage was (46.9 * 10–3) in Juarta soil for the chloride water. Concerning the molecular ratios of oxides, the highest ratio of SiO2/Fe2O3 was (9.51) in Shaqlawa soil, the ratio of CaO + MgO/Al2O3 was (7.29) in Atrush soil and the ratio of SiO2/Al2O3 was (5.98) in Aqrah soil when the chloride water was used. The highest values of the molecular ratios above when using the chloride water were (9.11, 7.87, 5.89) in the soils of Aqrah, Atrush and Shaqlawa respectively. In the case of using the Tigris River water, the highest values of the above molecular ratios were (9.50, 8.77, 5.88) in the soils of Aqrah, Atrush and Aqrah, respectively.
