Artificial intelligence solutions—including machine learning, deep and reinforcement learning, business intelligence, big data analytics, NLP, and GANs—support decision-making at all levels of management. This paper explores how AI supports decision-making processes in software development firms. The theoretical part of the paper focuses on the fundamental AI technologies applied by Software Houses, especially in relation to the improvement and support of decision making processes underlying the benefits from its application in software development. The empirical section analyzes four case studies from selected software firms.
