This paper explores the relationship between Business Process Management (BPM) and Multi-Agent Systems (MAS), characterizes Mixed-Mode Processes (MMP), and proposes a Hybrid Human–AI Agent Framework for evaluating their performance. It identifies key challenges in human–AI agent interaction and positions them as a basis for extending existing MAS evaluation frameworks to address the specific requirements of MMP assessment. A systematic analysis is conducted to evaluate the extent to which current evaluation frameworks cover the critical dimensions relevant to mixed-mode processes.

摘要

This paper explores the relationship between Business Process Management (BPM) and Multi-Agent Systems (MAS), characterizes Mixed-Mode Processes (MMP), and proposes a Hybrid Human–AI Agent Framework for evaluating their performance. It identifies key challenges in human–AI agent interaction and positions them as a basis for extending existing MAS evaluation frameworks to address the specific requirements of MMP assessment. A systematic analysis is conducted to evaluate the extent to which current evaluation frameworks cover the critical dimensions relevant to mixed-mode processes.
