This study enhanced the open-source WinPmem tool to address challenges in volatile memory acquisition, such as inefficiencies and outdated practices. In this paper we have proposed an improved memory acquisition framework by updating libraries and refining data structures. The optimized version enhances the performance, adaptability to modern systems, and maintained digital forensic accuracy. This research emphasizes refining existing tools to meet evolving digital forensic demands, providing a reliable solution for memory acquisition.
