This chapter uses Ohm’s law for the analysis of purely resistive or purely capacitive circuits in the sinusoidal steady state. After analyzing a pure inductive circuit, Faraday’s law is presented. This chapter finishes with an analysis of the sinusoidal RL, RC, and RLC series circuits.
