Detection and Prevention of Inappropriate User Behavior in Virtual Environments
摘要
Virtual Environments, particularly Learning Management Systems, have become a cornerstone of modern education by providing accessible, flexible, and scalable learning opportunities. However, their open nature also introduces significant security and integrity challenges. A growing concern is the misuse of anonymity by students who exploit temporary email addresses, anonymization networks such as Tor, and IP-masking tools to bypass platform rules and academic integrity safeguards. The anonymity facilitates a range of problematic behaviors, from disruptive communication in forums and circumvention of test access restrictions to more serious violations such as the CAMEO (Copying Answers using Multiple Existence Online) strategy. Doubtful practices compromise fair assessment, distort learning analytics, and undermine the credibility of educational platforms. To address these challenges, paper proposes a conceptual framework designed to restrict anonymous access to online environments and prevent the registration of new accounts using disposable email addresses.
