Travel Behaviour of University Students in Urban Sustainable Transport Planning: A Case Study of Wrocław University of Science and Technology
摘要
The article presents the results of a study on the transport mobility of students at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology (WUST). The aim of the analysis was to identify preferred means of transport, factors influencing transport decisions and barriers to using sustainable forms of transport. The collected survey data indicate that most students use public transport, while bicycles, electric scooters or carpooling are rarely used. The results were used to formulate recommendations regarding the design of urban transport infrastructure and policies supporting the development of intelligent mobility in academic environments.
