Contemporary battlefields experience especially in the Russia-Ukrainian and Israeli-Palestinian but also other conflicts in the world highlight advantage of using Unmanned Aerial System to support execution of tactical tasks. Use of Unmanned Aerial Systems when performing combat tasks is a necessity, and it increases the efficiency of combat efforts. Taking advantage of numerous contemporary conflicts lessons learned, Slovak Armed Forces as well implements Unmanned Aerial Systems into their conduct of operations. Contemporary efforts are directed towards training of thousand soldiers as operators of these systems. Alongside traditional use of drones for military tasks, e.g. reconnaissance and surveillance, new areas of use are under development. Wide area of interest is dedicated to use of Unmanned Aerial Systems for resupply of military units. The aim of the paper is to consider qualitative and technical requirements and identify suitable solutions.
