Transport services are an integral part of the logistics chain, ensuring that goods reach their destination on time and in proper condition. As technologies evolve and improve, it is essential to adapt and update transport service management systems accordingly. Failure to update these systems may lead to risks such as data security issues, decreased operational efficiency, and loss of competitiveness. The aim of the article is to investigate the possibility of automating the transport service management system of Lithuanian logistics companies. This article examines the possibility of optimizing transport service processes in logistics companies as a means to ensure the quality of transportation services. It also discusses the problematic functions of transport service management systems. By applying the survey method and multi-criteria evaluation method, the main problematic functions of the transport management system were highlighted. The obtained research conclusion substantiates that an automation process is necessary for vehicle activity planning in Lithuanian logistics companies.
