Specific Aspects of Determining the Parameters of a Phase-Change Contact Thermal Accumulator for the Engine Within a Combined Heating System
摘要
The article examines the specific aspects of determining the parameters of a contact-type phase change heat accumulator as part of an integrated combined pre-start heating system under corresponding operating conditions. A contact-type phase change heat accumulator is one of the key components of an integrated thermal preparation system and is designed to store thermal energy from the engine or power unit of a vehicle. The proposed and described approach to parameter determination fully takes into account the operating conditions, design features, and all main processes related to the functioning of the contact heat accumulator within the integrated combined pre-start heating system. A generalized structural diagram for calculating and determining the parameters of a contact-type phase change heat accumulator for an engine is presented. This diagram outlines the main aspects of calculation and parameter definition of the contact-type phase change heat accumulator as a system element and consists of four main stages. The results of computational and experimental studies are provided. As a result, the performance of engine thermal preparation is significantly improved when implementing the complete operating cycle of the contact-type phase change heat accumulator.
