A pneumatological reading of salvation expands the scope of redemption beyond humanity to include the whole community of creation. Engaging debates within animal theology and Christological accounts of redemption, this chapter explores how animals may be understood within the wider horizon of God’s saving work. Drawing on themes such as deep incarnation, the outpouring of the Spirit on “all flesh,” and the cosmic implications of the incarnation, it argues that animals are not moral agents responsible for sin but creatures drawn into the redemptive movement inaugurated in Christ and mediated by the Spirit. In this vision, animals emerge as participants in a Spirit-baptised creation oriented toward the renewal and restoration of all life.

摘要
