This chapter will examine additional domestic and international impacts resource nationalism can have when utilized. Firstly, geopolitical aspects such as select pipeline politics and projects will be covered. Next, ownership disputes over deposits and additional tensions surrounding petroleum in the Persian Gulf will be discussed. Afterwards, energy security themes will successively be analyzed starting with resource wars, given the centrality of natural resources to the region.
