There is an issue with incorrect management positioning, despite the fact that management model research is crucial to intelligent dance education management. Intelligent dance education management presents unique challenges that conventional genetic algorithms have not been able to adequately address. Thus, this work provides an analysis of existing research on dance education management models and recommends new research based on the k-means algorithm. To begin, we use the theory of distance measurement to identify the components that will have an impact, and then we segment the indicators based on the needs of the management model research to lessen the impact of any potential interference. Next, a research plan for a k-mode algorithm management model is developed using distance measurement theory. The results show that the analysis method of educational management in the process of dance education research can improve the educational effect. Optimize the knowledge movements of dance, and the optimization rate is greater than 80%. The optimization potential and students’ learning situation and content are comprehensively analyzed, and the success rate of analysis is greater than 45%.
