There has been extensive usage of IT in the realm of higher education. Improving educational outcomes is a top priority for higher education administration and policymakers. When it comes to managing and making decisions in higher education, the old management approach just won't cut it. Hence, a method of data analysis for educational administration and decision-making is suggested in this work. The first step in minimizing interference factors in educational management and decision-making is to use information technology for analysis of education management. Indicators are then split according to the needs of education management and decision-making. After that, a program for educational management and decision-making is formed using the findings of IT analysis of higher education administration and decision-making, and then a thorough examination of these outcomes is carried out. Results from a MATLAB simulation demonstrate that data analysis outperforms the conventional management mode for the feasibility of education management and decision-making, and the rationality of education management and decision-making in higher education.
