Respiratory Disease in Donkeys and Mules
摘要
In this chapter the most relevant respiratory conditions that may affect donkeys and mules have been addressed. Anatomical and physiological differences in comparison with the horse have been considered from a clinical standpoint. Clinical evaluation focused on donkey and mule features may assist clinicians dealing with these animals to promptly identify the respiratory condition. Descriptions of the most frequent respiratory diseases are provided, together with principles of therapy and prevention.
