Geochemical Characteristics and Chronological Background Analysis of Granite
摘要
This paper reports the zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb ages and whole-rock geochemical characteristics of granodiorites in the Wangjiagang area, central Jilin Province, aiming to determine their formation age, petrogenesis, source area properties, and tectonic attributes. The research results show that: Zircon U-Pb dating studies indicate that the Wangjiagang granodiorite in Central Jilin Province was formed in the Middle Jurassic. Its composition analysis shows that the rock is I-type granite, and the original magma comes from the partial melting of igneous rocks in the lower crust; The tectonic setting of the Wangjiagang granodiorite is an active continental margin environment, which was formed by the subduction of the ancient Pacific plate towards the Eurasian continent. It may also have been influenced by the collision and amalgamation of the Songnen-Zhangguangcai Ridge block and the Jiamusi block.
