In a situation where environmental pollution becomes increasingly serious, reducing emissions from vehicles is extremely important. This study focuses on evaluating the impact of attaching a catalytic converter to the exhaust pipe of a motorcycle. The subject of our study is the Wave Alpha model. The experiment was performed at various speed: 0, 20, 30 and 45 km/h. The results show that the catalytic converter has the ability to reduce emissions without affecting vehicle operation, through measuring the parameters of CO, HC, CO2, O2, fuel consumption and oil temperature.

摘要

In a situation where environmental pollution becomes increasingly serious, reducing emissions from vehicles is extremely important. This study focuses on evaluating the impact of attaching a catalytic converter to the exhaust pipe of a motorcycle. The subject of our study is the Wave Alpha model. The experiment was performed at various speed: 0, 20, 30 and 45 km/h. The results show that the catalytic converter has the ability to reduce emissions without affecting vehicle operation, through measuring the parameters of CO, HC, CO2, O2, fuel consumption and oil temperature.
