Real-World Evaluation of UAV Application in Traffic Control in Thu DUC City (HO Chi Minh City, Vietnam)

The article focuses on the research potential of utilizing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for traffic control in Thu Duc City. The study concentrates on specific objectives, methods, and techniques for employing UAVs in traffic management. The results demonstrate that UAVs can provide detailed information on traffic flow, detect congestion, and accident-prone areas, thereby improving the efficiency of transportation traffic. The use of UAVs in traffic control helps reduce accidents, enhances monitoring capabilities, and facilitates violation handling by authorities. However, the deployment of UAV applications also faces challenges in terms of legal regulations, manpower, and investment costs. The research proposes solutions to overcome these challenges and optimize the application of UAVs in transportation traffic control in Thu Duc City.
