One of the tasks of industrial engineering is the study and analysis of production lines, with the aim of improving processes by reducing delays, unnecessary activities and costs. This fosters the idea of continuous improvement, which brings positive effects, increasing profits and in turn creating a better organizational climate. In the production line, there is constant movement of operators and products. Similarly, in assembly, there are key factors that decrease productivity, such as noise, the type of instructions and the arrangement of the pieces being assembled, which increase the time needed to complete tasks. For the development of this project, an experiment was conducted simulating an assembly scenario, where an operator faces the previously mentioned factors in a combined way. This allowed for the analysis presented below.
