A detailed examination of single-veneer behavior, particularly the effects of the peeling process on its mechanical integrity, provides foundational insight. Building on this, the mechanical performance of veneer in composite assemblies is analyzed, highlighting its potential in lightweight, sustainable construction systems. Experimental tests reveal significant correlations between moisture variation and mechanical response, underlining the critical role of hygrothermal factors in veneer-based composites.
