Geochemical Characteristics and Geological Significance of Medium and Low Temperature Geothermal Fluids in the Eastern Part of the Tan-Lu Fault Zone
摘要
The eastern part of the Tan-Lu Fault Zone is one of the major areas rich in medium and low temperature geothermal resources in China. The spatial distribution and material source of geothermal fluid are closely related to the deep water-rock interaction. The geochemical characteristics of geothermal fluid can reflect the hydrodynamic process information of geothermal fluid. By analyzing the geochemical characteristics of nine samples in the study area, it is shown that the types of geothermal water in the area include Cl-Na, HCO3·SO4-Na, Cl-Na·Ca, and SO4·Cl-Na. The main recharge source is atmospheric precipitation, and the recharge heat source is the convective heat of deep faults. The geothermal reservoir temperature is between 73 to 110°C, and the circulation depth is between 1336 to 2188 m. In the process of rising, between 61% to 95% shallow groundwater are mixed, which shows that these geothermal waters does not reach the water-rock equilibrium state. Analysis the circulation process and control factors of geothermal fluid is of great significance to improve the understanding of the formation mechanism and distribution law of geothermal resources in the area, and can provide scientific support for the rational development and utilization of geothermal resources in the area.
